Upload your map file
Drop in the locked file saved by NSP, ESP, ECU Manager, PCLink, EMU Client, EMTune, MTune or FTManager. We detect the brand and version.
Check the proof
We unlock it straight away and show you what we found: the masked password, your map's details, or a preview of its tables.
Pay and download
Pay with PayPal or crypto. The unlocked file and the password appear on screen and arrive by email.
What you see before you pay
Before any payment, you see what we found in your file. What that is depends on your ECU. These are the real screens.
See your recovered password
We show the password we found in your file, masked. The full password and the unlocked file are yours as soon as you pay.
Check it's really your map
A report read from your unlocked file: ECU, firmware, engine and wiring. Details only the owner of the tune would recognize.
You pay only after you've seen what we found. If the unlocked file then doesn't work in your ECU software, tell us within 14 days. We check it and refund you in full.

ECU Recovery are awesome! They unlocked our Haltech ECU MAP file but it caused some minor corruption. I reached out to their support team and they responded in a very timely manner. They acknowledged the issue immediately. Took ownership of the issue and supplied me a fixed unlocked MAP file that I was able to load into the ECU to start and run the car tune intact! Problem Solved. Great service and system. Saved me having to deal with the troublesome tuner who took it upon themselves to lock us out of the car and ecu! As it turns out he didn't modify the original tune that much so I guess that is why he was trying to keep us out! Thanks ECU Recovery well worth the money spent. Highly recommend these guys!

No. We recover and verify your map file before showing you the payment screen. If we can't recover it, you won't be charged.
It depends on the ECU brand. For LinkECU, Emtron, and FuelTech, you receive both the recovered password and the unlocked map file. For Haltech (both .ecm and .nexmap files) and ECUMaster, you receive an unlocked map file that opens without the password prompt. For MaxxECU, you receive the unlocked MTune save file, ready to open and edit. Your result is shown on screen after payment and is also sent to your email.
If your unlocked map file doesn't open correctly in your ECU software (Haltech ECU Manager, Haltech NSP / Nexus Software, PCLink, EMU software, EMTune, MTune, or FTManager), contact us at support@ecurecovery.com. We re-check the file associated with your order, and if the result did not work as described, you receive a full refund. See our Refund Policy for full details.
Yes. We recover access to ECU tune files that belong to you — the same idea as resetting the password on an account you own. You can check us out before paying: you see proof taken from your own file first, and if we can't unlock it you pay nothing. When you pay, you confirm that the file is yours or that you're authorized to open it. Payment is by PayPal or crypto, our refund policy is public, and you can read our customer reviews on Trustpilot or email us at support@ecurecovery.com.
Your file is sent over an encrypted connection and used only to produce your result — we don't sell it. Your result is stored AES-256 encrypted, and your download link expires 24 hours after it's created. You can ask us to delete your uploaded file or result early by emailing support@ecurecovery.com.
